Annual events on behalf of the Morris Museum are an important
tradition in the Morris County region. Kaleidoscope is an annual
black tie gala and auction. Holiday Tree Festival features
a dramatic display of beautifully hand-crafted trees and holiday
items. The annual Golf Classic is a
highlight for golf enthusiasts. Proceeds
from these events enhance the museum’s education and
exhibition programs. The Friends of the Morris Museum host
Kaleidoscope and the Holiday Tree Festival.

The Annual Golf Classic offers a day of fun, fellowship and relaxed golf. The event also offers attractive prizes and the opportunity to benefit one of New Jersey’s outstanding cultural institutions.
Everyone is a winner at the Annual Golf Classic… the participants, the museum, members and visitors to the museum! We value your participation and strengthening our crucial “links” between the museum and its ever-widening community.

Fendi, Coach, MAXX, Mary Frances, Vera Bradley! Ladies, do you love fashionable designer handbags but hate to pay the steep price tags?
The Friends of the Morris Museum will again host an Old Bags Luncheon on Thursday, April 17, 2008 at The Morris County Golf Club in Morristown, featuring a silent auction of more than 100 new, gently used and vintage handbags at great prices!
Don’t be confused by the name! The Old Bags Luncheon is for both the young and the old who simply must have fabulous designer handbags. Mrs. Eileen Cornacchia created the concept of the “Old Bags” luncheon in 1997 to benefit a charity in Palm Beach, Florida. The concept was so successful across the country that Cornacchia trademarked the name.
The Morris Museum’s Old Bags Luncheon includes an enjoyable lunch and an entertaining presentation.
